Jennifer Hess, DVM, MS, Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia, practices anesthesia and pain management care in the New York City Area, NJ and CT, and other states at the request of specialty and general practices. Dr. Hess consults for veterinary team member and resident education, provides individual patient care including client care, and helps with concerns for overall anesthesia process. Dr. Hess lectures on cardiovascular concerns for anesthesia, preemptive and multi-modal pain management, respiratory physiology and anesthesia. She practices as well as teaches local and regional anesthesia including ultrasound guided techniques. She is a graduate of Cornell College of Arts and Sciences (BA), Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine (MS) and clinically trained at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Her interests include all species and all co-morbidities. She is a peer-reviewer for anesthesia and analgesia topics and contributing author to peer-reviewed literature and chapters. Her pet family includes two Australian Shepherd mixed breed dogs.
